Alex, who is another founder of Van Halen alongside Eddie, shared a childhood photo of the two boys together with Entertainment Tonight. Eddie Van Halen's brother, Alex Van Halen, is speaking out following the rocker's death this week. ![]() I've always thought of Van Halen as a guy that wrote stuff that was easy enough to play recognizably well, but damn near impossible to play 100% perfectly. When Van Halen was really on, he's pretty damn tight. Having said that, it's fairly easy to nail a lot of Lifeson's work.
